Dreams, Goals and Resolutions for 2012

Okay, now stop that song for a while. That is Princess Aurora’s dream, not me. She was a true princess, raised up by three little fairy godmothers as a peasant girl who was dreaming on meeting a prince. Dream is a fantastic magical word. Just put your believe in and let miracle happens! Whoa, it is not that easy for us to achieve our dream unless we put on so much effort on accomplishing our dreams, goals and resolutions.

Undeniably, each and every person in this whole magical world must have their own awesome dreams. Well, of course including me as well, a juvenile bachelor student. But, frankly speaking I do not believe in dream so much as for me dream is a part of fantasy and day-dreaming and sometimes it does not make sense at all. I do have a dream. Do you want to know about it? I am dreaming on marrying a very gorgeous prince with blue eyes and tall nose and riding a white horse and brown hair and, and… Enough! See, I do not even have an ending to my nonsense dream so how can I achieve it.

As a growing up girl, I replace the dream with resolutions which are more relevant. Entering a new year has made me think a step ahead. 2012 although some might say that this is the time which the world ends as well as apocalypse but for me I have to start a new style and mood of study in order to accomplish my only goal; passes all examinations in MESTECH with flying colours.

I have listed several resolutions to be done based on my previous behavior last year which is NOT GOOD and I indeed need a change. First and foremost, I want to put out my procrastination on completing the tasks given by the lecturers and also always see them in order to upgrade my carry mark. I never submit my task or assignment later than due date, that is a fact to blow my own trumpet before but I always completed at the eleventh hour. Consequently, I have got lesser points for my carry-marks. Served me right! In addition, I will always see the lecturers to upgrade my carry-marks to the highest level according to my abilities.

Besides that, I HAVE to at least skim over the notes or textbook about the coming topic before enter the class by hook or by crook because if I do not try my best to expose myself for the coming topic, I might be blurred and lost during the learning session. This is definitely a total loss. Focusing in class is important to score good CGPA but carry-mark is a part of it too. Certain friends of mine said that my grade is good enough as I have scored more than 3.0 but lesser than 3.5 but for me, it is not that good because I believe I can go further. I can never quit my efforts to increase my grade as better as I can.

To put it laconically, all these words; dreams, goals, hopes and resolutions actually shares the same definition. It depends on people to describe the true meaning and to turn on a new leaf in order to achieve the aims and goals of life. Remember, it is no use to keep changing resolutions years by years if there are no efforts on completing them in a particular time. So, proves your words as action speaks louder than words.
